This ritual should not be done a rigid cadence but instead it should be done in a form of dancing and chanting to be pleasing to
the Gods you worship. Tailor it to them. Also, I used my patrons, Aphrodite and Apollo. Substitute your patrons in place of mine.
WICCAN PENTAGRAM
Face North. Touch forehead. Say: EKO EKO APHRODITE ('Hail, hail Aphrodite’)
Touch left breast. Say: EKO EKO APOLLO ('Hail, hail Apollo’)
Touch right shoulder. Say: IO EVOE( ee-VEE) APHRODITE
Touch left shoulder. Say: IO EVOE APOLLO
Touch right breast. Say: EKO EKO AZARAK ('Hail, hail force of fire')
Touch forehead. Say: IO EVOE ('Blessed be.')
Assume the God position and say 'As I will it’
Raise arms to the Goddess position and say 'So mote it be.'
CIRCLE OF PROTECTION
(Visualize what you draw with your athame as being a flame instead of the usual white or blue light)
Draw a banishing pentagram on the floor/ground and above your head.
Say: I now invite the Guardians of the Watchtowers to come and protect me from all negative spirits and entities.
Turn and face the east.
Trace banishing pentagram in East. Say: WELCOME GUARDIAN OF AIR.
Trace circle of protection until facing South. Trace banishing pentagram in South. Say: WELCOME GUARDIAN OF FIRE.
Trace circle of protection until facing West. Trace banishing pentagram in West. Say: WELCOME GUARDIAN OF WATER.
Trace circle of protection until facing North. Trace banishing pentagram in North. Say: WELCOME GUARDIAN OF EARTH.
Finish tracing circle, closing it in the East.
INVOCATION OF THE ELEMENTALS
Return to center of circle and face East. Extend arms in form of a 4 directional cross.
Chant:
Before me the Guardian of Air
Behind me the Guardian of Water
On my right hand the Guardian of Fire
On my left hand the Guardian of Earth
About me flame the pentagrams
From within me shines the light of the God and Goddess. May their presence and power drive away all things negative and
cleanse this space.
(Visualize a white light emanating from you and filling every empty space as it spreads out from you.)
REPEAT WICCAN PENTAGRAM
Once the area is cleansed and you no longer feel a need for the protection, don’t forget to thank and send away the elementals.
Wandering and bored elementals are not a good thing.
